Minenhle is a YHA Alumni who joined the programme in 2021. Ever since she completed her internship, she has been actively seeking further employment opportunities and has ventured into entrepreneurship opportunities.

“I have been actively seeking further employment post-internship, but I am very hopeful because YHA has equipped me with extraordinary work experience, and skills. Amongst the skills I have acquired is effective communication, compassion, and respect for everyone in the workplace. I also learned how to capture data efficiently, and to always make confidentiality a priority.

After the internship program with Youth Health Africa ended, I ventured into business and started selling handbags to generate an extra income. I am grateful for the development sessions at YHA because they taught me how to budget. I, therefore, managed to save a lot of money during my internship and this has helped me a lot with my business and job hunting.”
